The sensor and magnet have special magnetic circuit design to realize the different requirements of the sensor for detecting reverse / neutral / forward gear. The R gear is realized by a reverse magnet.

The neutral and reverse gear sensor and magnet are installed on the shift structure of the manual transmission to detect the neutral, reverse and forward gears of the transmission, and feed back different duty cycle signals to the ECU.
