The internal structure of the water temperature sensor is relatively simple, that is, one or two NTCs are encapsulated to lead out the positive and negative poles, which are generally screwed directly on the cylinder block without additional bolts.

The core component of the water temperature sensor is NTC, which can be understood as a thermistor. It shows different resistance values at different temperatures. The temperature sensor outputs the corresponding current at different temperatures, and identifies the current temperature through calibration with the system.

The water temperature sensor has the advantages of simple structure and small volume. It is widely used in automobile engine to detect water temperature.
